Pop2Piano is an audio-based piano cover generation project developed by Jongho Choi and Kyogu Lee. The project focuses on generating piano covers from pop songs, where stereo audio samples have the piano cover on one side and the original song on the other. You can find the associated paper, code, and demo on the project’s webpage.
The project can also be used in combination with other audio-based cover generation projects, like Song2Guitar. A demo video shows how the original song and generated guitar cover from Song2Guitar can be used as input for Pop2Piano to generate the corresponding piano cover.
