Promethean AI is a leading Artificial Intelligence suite for digital asset management and virtual world creation. Established in 2019, it is trusted by renowned video game developers worldwide to streamline creative workflows, automate mundane tasks, and empower creators to focus on realizing their unique vision for their audiences.
The team behind Promethean AI is spearheaded by Andrew Maximov, a former Technical Art Director at Naughty Dog Inc. (Sony Interactive Entertainment). After years of working on some of the most sophisticated and celebrated interactive entertainment in the world, Maximov realized the need for a fundamental rethinking of creative technology. This was due to the lack of scalability to meet creators’ needs, audience appetites, and hardware constraints. Thus, he assembled a team to develop Promethean AI with the latest proprietary cutting-edge machine learning technology.
An early access version of Promethean AI is now available for free for non-commercial use. There are also additional licensing options for projects with less than $100k/year in financing (Indie) and above (Professional). Please note that public versions currently have limited functionality compared to the full enterprise version, but efforts are being made to bring them to parity soon.
Promethean AI is a team made up of experienced individuals from different backgrounds. For instance, one team member shares that during their 8-year game development career, they focused on making artists’ lives easier by providing them with tools to implement their ideas. Another member, Peter, designed cloud optimization pipelines for Simplygon and applications for HoloLens at Microsoft, showing a background in banking, intellectual property, IoT, and machine learning implementations.
Additionally, a co-founder and CTO of MSQRD, an augmented reality facial tracking and animation company acquired by Facebook in 2016, is part of the team. They spearheaded the development of Facebook Spark AR platform.
Promethean AI is also currently hiring for positions like Technical Artist and Senior/Lead Environment Artist. The roles are remote and can be performed from anywhere in the world.
